Terms of service
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Todolist when you use the Todolist apps and website. By making an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them together with our privacy policy.
Who runs Todolist
Todolist is run by Equivalent Slovakia s.r.o., a company in Slovakia. You can reach us at info@equivalent.work.
The service
Todolist lets you keep to-do lists and share them with other people. The service is free. It is still new and not yet released in the app stores, so features can change, and it can sometimes be unavailable. We will tell you before we start to charge for anything, and you will never pay without agreeing to it first.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older to use Todolist.
- Give a real email address, and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms also apply to your Google account.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else uses your account.
Your content
Your lists and items stay yours. You give Todolist only the permission it needs to store them, copy them to your devices and show them to the people you share them with. When you share a list, every member can see, change and settle its items. A list's owner can remove members and delete the list for everyone.
Fair use
Do not use Todolist to break the law, to send spam or abusive content, to harm other people, or to attack, overload or get around the security of the service. Do not invite people who do not want to be invited. If you break these rules, we can stop your access, and in serious cases delete your account.
Ending your account
You can stop using Todolist at any time. To delete your account, write to info@equivalent.work, and we delete it as the privacy policy says. We can close the service or your account with a reasonable notice by email, except in the cases under "Fair use", where we can act at once.
No warranty
We work to keep Todolist running and your data safe, but we give the service "as is". We cannot promise that it is always available, free of errors, or that data is never lost. Do not use Todolist as the only place for anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or lost data, from using Todolist. This does not limit liability for damage caused on purpose or by gross negligence, for injury to life or health, or any other liability that the law does not let us limit. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights that consumer law gives you.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the service changes. We update the date at the top, and if a change matters for you, we tell you by email or in the app before it starts. If you do not agree, you can stop using Todolist and ask us to delete your account.
Law and disputes
These terms are under the law of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you can go to the courts there. Before you go to court, please write to us: most problems can be solved by email.
